Objective - Coming up with a business solution for Los Angeles gentrifying neighborhoods.
Strategy - As bread is the biggest and essential part of Mexican life and being loved by everyone else irrespective of ethnicity, class, status etc. I chose Bakery/Panaderia and Playspace for the neighborhood, Highland Park in LA.
Research & Insight -
Few businesses caters to locals and families.
Few spaces are kid friendly.
No place for old and young together without
language, class and ethnicity barrier.
Proposal - Ninos Box aims to become a third place for diverse ethnic groups of Highland Park community, coming together to experience the authentic essence of the neighborhood, giving way to Eat, Play and Love, transcending cultural divides and creating new memories together, addressing the issues of gentrification.
Ninos Box is a new concept for the neighborhood Panaderia and playspace , specialized in typical regional breads characterized by their local Mexican flavors, colors and forms.
